Only the licensed professional producing the fireworks show on Lake Cypress Springs can legally discharge fireworks in Franklin County this Independence Day season. Franklin County Commissioners Court members extended the ban on fireworks of all kinds and outdoor burning. In a separate action, members of the commissioners court extended the ban on outdoor burning for up to 90 days - Sept. 25, 2011.
