The 14th annual display of fireworks over Lake Cypress Springs will be Saturday night, July 2 despite the recent county wide burn ban. The display will begin at 9:30 p.m. and will be presented by Rick and Sarah Boltz.
Patriotic music will be aired from 9 to 10 p.m. The staging area for the show is on the landing at Mary King Park. The location provides great visibility from a variety of locations along the shoreline as well as on the water. See the June 30 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details.
