The annual series of budget hearings for Franklin County is scheduled for Tuesday, July 5. Any group or agency who plans to request funding for any purpose from the county for the 2012 fiscal year should be included in the hearings. Those who are not included on the schedule, which follows, should contact Betty Sue Allen, County Treasurer, to arrange a time slot. A listing of appointment times already set are available in the June 30 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
