Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

A team of experts in the Main Street revitalization process will visit Mount Vernon July 25-26. Local business and community leaders are urged to make plans now to attend the meeting to begin at 3 p.m. the first day in the Cultural Arts Center.
The visitors are to help the city and its Main Street Program with continuing efforts to enhance the community’s unique history and its special historic places. Through the visit, guidance will be provided for enhancing local downtown revitalization efforts and historic preservation activities.
