TransCanada Keystone Pipeline and its subsidiarity, TransCanada Keystone, filed two condemnation suits in the 62nd Judicial District earlier this month. The suits sought permanent easements and working rights-of-ways to property in south central Franklin County. The company is seeking to lay a 36 inch diameter pipe across the southwestern portion of Franklin County. For more details, see the July 28 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
