The Cypress Springs Special Utility District’s Board of Directors gave approval to purchase a radio read metering system during its regular monthly meeting at a cost of $749,100. The cost of the metering system will be paid out over a 10 to15 year period. Richard Zachary, general manager for the Cypress Springs Special Utility District, says he anticipates increased income and a saving in manpower hours and equipment to pay for the project.
