Gary Traylor with the grant writing firm of Traylor and Associates talked with the Mount Vernon council about a Main Street grant that is available to them. A public hearing to consider  making a Texas Capital Fund Main Street grant application is set at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13 with the Mount Vernon City Council at City Hall.
