The Franklin County Prescription Discount Card Program will kick off this Friday, Sept. 16, County Treasurer Betty Sue Allen told members of the commissioners court Monday. The county is joining with the National Association of Counties (NACo) to offer a discount drug plan to local county residents. Any county resident without prescription coverage can use this program. The cards are available at the offices of the Franklin County Treasurer, Tax Assessor / Collector and at local pharmacies.
