Judge Jim Alford received the Knight Commander Court of Honor of the Scottish Rite Masons award at the Scottish Rite awards banquet at the Dallas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children on Oct. 1. He was accompanied at the banquet by his lady, Barbara.
The award is a recognition for Judge Alford’s faithful service to the masonic fraternity.  He was presented the award by M. Douglas Adkins, a member of the Supreme Council of Texas. For more information, see the Oct. 27 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
