The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced Tuesday that construction to remove and replace sections of I-30 in Franklin County would begin next week. The repairs to the pavement on I-30 will be in Hopkins and Franklin counties and will cost $405,500. For more information, see the October 27 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
