The longhorn steer that has stood for years in front of Prosperity Bank was returned to its perch on Monday, Nov. 7. Billy Jordan, in the tractor, and Sid Hudson and Don Johnston worked to put it back into place. Gary Henry created the Native Texas statue in 1997. It was toppled by a storm in Oct. 2010 and stored by Jacque Bateman since.
