Corporal Brantin Carr trains with the simulator provided by the Texas Association of Counties.
Law enforcement officers with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Mount Vernon, and the Franklin County Water District are being provided locally with accident avoidance training. The training is being provided to the personnel through the Texas Association of Counties. The county is eligible for the free services because the county has worker’s compenation insurance through the association. For more information, see the December 8 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald.
