Four candidates have declared for office, but had not filed as of press time Tuesday. The deadline for filing is at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15. Incumbents Franklin County Tax Assessor/Collector Sue Ann Harper, Constable Randy Green, and challenger for sheriff Ricky Jones have stated they will file for office with the Republican Party and have not filed.
