Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Bridge replacement began this week on two rural roads in northwest and southwest Franklin County. The bridges are on County Roads NW 1012 on Denton Creek about 1/4 mile north of I-30 and SW3250 on a tributary to Big Cypress Creek about 1/2 mile east of the Franklin/Hopkins County line and FM 3019. The project is expected to extend 102 working days. An anticipated completion date of June 2012 is projected.
