Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

“Easter Hams” will be prepared and ready for pick-up from members of the Mount Vernon Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 11 at the city’s fire station. A few hams may still be available  for purchase. The cost of the ham is $35 each.  They can be reserved by calling Jeremy Cox at 903-537-7155. All funds, exceeding expenses, collected during the event will be used to purchase equipment and finance training for the department and its members.
