Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Veterans of the Korean War will be honored in a ceremony at 1 p.m. Friday, July 27 on the plaza in downtown Mount Vernon. The date marks the 59th anniversary of the signing of the Korean War armistice. The ceremony is to be conducted by the Franklin/Titus County Veterans Service Officer Steve Austin.
