The overflow containment barriers/tanks for the caustic soda containers at the North, South, and Northeast water treatment plants were put into place Thursday, Aug. 2. Quality Control Products was awarded the contract to build the three 2,500 gallon concrete tanks. The cost of the construction, delivery and installation of the units was set at $1,450 each for a total cost of $4,350.
