The home of Lewis and Brenda Turner at 3265 CR NE1019 was destroyed by fire on Friday, Oct. 5 around 2 p.m.
Laramy Cox of the Mount Vernon Volunteer Fire Department was the first on the scene and promptly began fighting the blaze on Friday, Oct. 5. Crews from North Franklin and South Franklin also responded. The home of Lewis and Brenda Turner on CR NE 1019 was completely destroyed. Firefighters were dispatched to the location late Friday evening and again on Saturday as strong winds kept re-kindling the flames.
