Heavy equipment has been gradually chipping away at the Fina Truck Stop on the south service road of I-30 for several weeks. The site is being cleared for the construction of a new $2 million structure at the same location. The new facility will include a 8,000 square foot convenience store with showers, diesel and gasoline fuels, and a 2,500 square foot restaurant. The project is scheduled to be completed in February 2013.
