The 2012 political campaigns have run the normal gauntlet of registering as a candidate in December 2011, trudging through the protracted primary elections, and will be culminating with the general election set for Tuesday, Nov. 6. From start to finish, it has covered the same time period as other campaigns, but this year’s races have seemed to take so much longer.
