Early voting by personal appearance in the Mount Vernon Independent School District trustee election and the City of Mount Vernon council election ends on Tuesday, May 5. Ballots can be cast in both elections at Mount Vernon City Hall. City Hall is located on the west side of the plaza in downtown. It is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Elections for the City will remain open until 8 p.m. on Monday, May 4.
