Franklin County Investigator Robert Zinn and volunteers with the Mount Vernon Fire Department Jeremy Cox and Kenneth Cupp examine burnt fibers in the bottom of a trash receptacle at Jordan’s Health Service on Wednesday, Nov. 7. The smoke caused the building’s fire alarms to sound. Employees were evacuated to parking lots on the opposite side of Hwy. 37, and returned 30 minutes later.
