Live rabies case found in family pet

Print

A dog belonging to a Franklin County couple was discovered to have live rabies last week. The 45 pound, one year-old, mixed breed male was walking around in circles with his head held to the side, could not open his jaw, and was dragging his rear end. It along with other animals from the home were euthanized. See the Dec. 13 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more information.
