The deadline to apply for consideration as city manager with the City of Mount Vernon is this Saturday, Dec. 15. Applications must be post marked by that date. A total of 50 applications have been received. Council members plan to begin their interviews of the candidates by their regular meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013.
