The Texas Department of Public Safety will increase DWI patrols from Dec. 21 through Jan. 1, 2013 which includes both the Christmas and New Year holidays. DPS troopers will focus DWI patrols in high-risk locations at times when alcohol-related crashes are most frequent. See the Dec. 20 edition of the Mount Vernon Optic-Herald for more details.
