Members of the Franklin County Commissioners Court voted to replace the boiler at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office with two hot water heaters at a cost of $18,420. The boiler on the older portion of the jail “went on the fritz” in the early part of December. Inmates have been utilizing shower facilities in the newer portion of the jail since that time.
