The engine of the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, owned by Autumn McBride of Mount Vernon was destroyed. The Mount Vernon Volunteer Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire before the entire car was damaged on Monday, Jan. 7 at 12:10 p.m. in the 300 block of TX Hwy. 37 S. in front of PMI Stoves.
