Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

In anticipation of a successful election on local beer and wine sales, a city ordinance was discussed in the Mount Vernon City Council Workshop meeting Tuesday to limit locations of sales sites. The ordinance being considered limits alcoholic beverages within 300 feet of a public or private school, church and/or public hospital.
