Anthony “Tony” Stonecypher of Aurora, Missouri was appointed to be the next administrator for the City of Mount Vernon. Members of the City Council formalized the appointment at their regular meeting Tuesday, Feb. 12. The council set his first day on the job as Friday, March 1.
