Jack D. Henry, Mary Nell Mince Henry Jennings, and Charles L. Lowry, will be inducted into the Mount Vernon School District’s League of Honor during a special ceremony at halftime of the Mount Vernon vs. Mineola football game on Friday, Sept. 25.

Other individuals to be honored at the induction ceremony are Melba Coe Meek, Judge William Benton “Bill” Meek, and Minnie Laughton Birdsong. The other three nominees will be featured in the Sept. 24 edition of the the Optic-Herald.
