The Franklin County area economy benefits from the  $4.1 million dollars received annually by the 174 annuitants who live in the county, Minnie Birdsong, president of the Franklin County Retired School Employees, told members of the organization at the Sept. 15 meeting in the Family Life Center of the First United Methodist Church.
