Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Eric Contreras, a member of the Mount Vernon Junior High Band, was selected for the Association of Texas Small School Bands All-Region Band on Friday, Dec. 5 at Queen City Middle School. A trombone player in the band, he was selected as third chair player in the North Zone Middle School Band.  See the Dec. 18 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
