Nominations are being sought for the 2010 Franklin County Schools League of Honor.
This is the eighth year for the program, which honors outstanding graduates and employees of the Franklin County Schools in a “League of Honor.”
As many as four students and two employees can be selected each year. A plaque will be placed on the brick columns in the mall area honoring each recipient.
After the nomination process ends on April 1, the committee will make selections, and those selections will be announced in the fall, usually at the Tiger Homecoming football game.
Extensive information about the background and qualifications are necessary in the application. Committee members must have the information necessary to make the proper choices. See the March 4 edition of the Optic-Herald for more details.
