Six members of the 2008-09 varsity Tiger football team were named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Football team for Class 3A this year.
Neal Blevins, Jordan Mayes, Taylor Mayes, Tucker Gatlin, Austin Wight, and Christian Butler was named to the team through a system that awards points for grade-point average, class rank and college testing scores.
