Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Alex Henderson, Mason Sweeden and Tyler Cheves along with other students in Mrs. Vickie Surratt’s sixth grade social studies classes worked on an Earth Day project at the school on Thursday, April 22. The students cleaned, weeded, and planted flowers in the flower beds in the mall area at the school.
