Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Sue Barker of Mount Vernon was among the Northeast Texas Community College (NTCC) Adult Education Staff to attend the state conference recently. This year, the Texas Association for Literacy and Adult Education (TALAE) was conducted in Dallas. The local program received recognition and awards from TALAE for the program with 100 percent of program staff having TALAE membership for 2008-09.
