More than 175 people attended the retirement reception at Mount Vernon ISD on Friday, May 7 to honor three staff members at the district. Honored at the event were, left to right, Paula Lancaster and David Maxton with Supt. John Kaufman. Vickie Surratt was also honored at the event. Cake and punch were served to those who attended and guest books were signed for each retiree.
