Scholarships totaling more than $150,000 were awarded at the 26th annual Rotary Academic Banquet in the school cafeteria on Monday, May 17.
The banquet was attended by more than 350 people. Students in each high school grade level were honored for their participation in U.I.L. academic events and for having all As in the various six weeks periods.
Rotary President Ann Holland welcomed the participants and their families, vice-principal Craig Watson provided the invocation for the meal, and High School Principal Kelly Baird acted as Master of Ceremonies for the event.
