Mount Vernon Optic-Herald

Linda Talley Orren, secretary of the Franklin County Retired School Employees Association, accepted District VIII TRTA’s Children’s Book Project Award for the largest percentage increase in the number of books presented by a local unit in the district in 2009-2010.  The award was presented to the local unit at District VIII’s Spring Leadership Conference May 6 in Queen City.
