Brian Baird, Hadley Sears, and Josh Dunn were recognized as 2010 Lone Star State Scholars at a reception at Ranger Stadium in Arlington on Saturday, July 24. The Lone Star State Scholars honors students grades three through eight who excel in the classroom, in the community, as leaders in extra-curricular, church or other outside interests, as well as on the athletic fields and courts. The local students were nominated for the program by third grade teacher Kathy Byrd.
