David Maxton of Mount Vernon was one of more than 200 teachers and supporters of agricultural science recognized by The Agriculture Teachers Association of Texas, at the Professional Development Conference for Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources Cluster, July 26 through  July 30 in Galveston. Agricultural science teachers spent the week attending professional development workshops, educational tours and general sessions with motivational speakers.
