Membership in the Mount Vernon School District’s League of Honor will grow during halftime ceremonies of the Mount Vernon vs. Cooper football game on Friday, Sept. 10 when six people are inducted into the group. Two couples and two individuals will be honored during the ceremony. They include: Walter and Margaret Sears, and Wayne Pierce and Bobby Maples. Major General Homer S.
