A mandatory meeting for individuals planning to participate in the 2011 Mount Vernon Saltillo Young Farmers Project Show is set for Monday, Sept. 13 and Tuesday, Sept. 14. Both meetings will be at 6 p.m. The meeting on Monday, Sept. 13 will be at the Saltillo Ag Building. Following the Monday night meeting, a Young Farmers meeting will be conducted at 7 p.m. at Saltillo. The meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14 will be at the Mount Vernon Ag Building. All students wishing to participate in the event and their parents must attend one of the two meetings. Rules for showing steers and dairy heifers will be discussed at the meeting.
