Hiske Schoonhoven of Mount Vernon was listed on the Dean’s List for the 2008 Fall Semester at Texas State University in San Marcos.
Miss Schoonhoven is a 2001 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and is the daughter of Jurjen and Antsje Schoonhoven of Mount Vernon.
To be named to the Dean’s List at Texas State, a student must earn a minimum grade-point average of 3.50 while carrying a class load of at least 12 semester hours.
