Pink Out the Meredith Stadium has been planned for the Mount Vernon Tigers versus the North Lamar Panthers game on Friday, Oct. 22. Game time will be at 7:30 p.m. The School Health Advisory Council, SHAC, is encouraging everyone in the community to wear pink during the day. Members of the Tiger football team will have pink stickers on their helmets in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. For more information, see the Oct. 21 edition of the Optic-Herald.
