Tucker Gatlin was the first place winner at the Texas State American Legion Oratorical Contest on Monday, Feb. 16 in Kerrville.
He received a $2,000 scholarship as the first place winner. He will present his speech at the national contest in Indianapolis, Ind. April 17-19. See the full story in the Feb. 19 edition of the Optic-Herald.
