School board members Jim Kober and Marilyn Elbert  show off the gifts they received from the school campuses. Members of the Mount Vernon School Board of Trustees were honored through School Board Recognition month on Monday, Jan. 24. They received caps, coupons and snacks from the district’s campuses and watched a rap video created by the third and fourth grade leadership group.
