Tickets for the annual Rotary Bingo for Scholarships are are now available, according to Rotary president Virgil Jones. Due to limited seating, only 525 tickets will be sold to the Saturday, Feb. 28 event. Cost of the tickets is $8 for adults and $4 for children under 12 years of age.
Tickets for the event are on sale now from Prosperity Bank, Texas American Bank and Guaranty Bond Bank in Mount Vernon, from all locations of First National Bank, and members of the Mount Vernon Rotary Club. See the Feb. 19 edition of the Optic-Herald for more information.
