Donna Trantham, Robert Taylor, and Tommy Keys were named as Honorary Chapter Farmers at the annual Mount Vernon FFA Banquet on Monday, May 9 in the school cafeteria. Becky Hunnicutt, who is retiring this year, was recognized for her years of service to the FFA department and to the Mount Vernon/Saltillo Young Farmers organization. She has taught in the ag department for five years, but served the group through the 25 years her husband, Bruce Hunnicutt, taught at the school.
