The American Heart Association representative, Lauren Garner, chose to give every child that participates in physical education classes at Mount Vernon Elementary School a jump rope.
Mount Vernon was one of two schools chosen in her region to receive the jump ropes. She chose the school because they have always done a good job collecting donations for Jump Rope for Heart. P.
